1. Choosing the Right Location

• Sunlight: Requires full sun for optimal fruit production.
• Soil: Thrives in well-drained, fertile soil with a slightly acidic to neutral pH.
• Spacing: Space trees 3–4 metres apart for proper growth.

2. Planting Time

• Best Time to Plant: Winter (June–August) while the tree is dormant, or early spring (September).

• Soil Preparation: Enrich the site with compost and well-rotted manure.
• Digging the Hole: Create a hole twice as wide and as deep as the root ball.
